A Bit About Me

I began my career as a radio DJ and technician on campus radio at the University of Guelph and became a fixture in the local theatre and music scenes when I was in high school. I toured with various musical acts throughout the 1990s, including hHead, Treble Charger, Sarah Harmer, Moist and Sloan.

I took a break from the road to go back to school and learn video production. Working as a Video Editor at Blue Highway in Toronto, I edited commercials for clients such as Mazda, Kraft, beer companies and documentaries for CBC, Bravo!, MTV Canada and the History Channel.

I've since returned to touring and work as a Tour Manager and FOH Audio Engineer for bands like The Sheepdogs, The New Pornographers, Alvvays, Hannah Georgas, Yukon Blonde, Lowest of the Low, Dan Mangan and Reuben and the Dark as well as audio engineer for the Legendary Horseshoe Tavern and Lee’s Palace. I also dipped my feet into teaching audio production at George Brown College and OCAD University.

I started to build guitar amplifiers during the pandemic while I was taking an electrical technician course at George Brown College. I have always been fascinated by the internal workings of amplifiers, how they create different sounds and how they can be manipulated to achieve certain tones.

Building and repairing amps is a labor of love, and I am dedicated to every project that comes my way. I might be new to the game, but I have spent countless hours studying the craft and refining my skills.
